The P3-B-26 emergency parachute assembly is designed for wear by both stationary and walk-around crew members. It is authorized by the FAA as meeting the requirements of FAA Technical Standard Order (TSO) C23b, for use in aircraft in the standard category.The Pioneer triconical parachute is a highperformance gliding canopy that retains the reliability and simplicity required of an emergency parachute. During descent, the canopy glides forward at a speed nearly equal to its rate of descent.Steering lines attached to the rear risers allow directional control for safe landing. All P3-B parachutes are produced in accordance with the latest applicable Parachute Industry Association (PIA) specifications.
