MC1 steerable Troop Assault Parachute assemblies are used during static line airborne operations. The various MC1 assemblies have been in service for several decades as the primary means of combat troop deployment. MC1 safety and reliability has been demonstrated in millions of jumps. The MC1 assembly is composed of 5 major components: canopy, risers, deployment bag/static line, pack tray and harness assembly. The anti-inversion net is sewn 18 inches down on each suspension line. This braided mesh netting increases the MC1 opening reliability to better than 0.9993 (U.S. Army Statistics). The MC1 Troop Assembly Parachute is suitable for airdropping personnel from as low as 500 feet MSL (Mean Sea Level).Lanyard Canopy Releases permit easy separation from the parachute during windy drop zone conditions. Lengthened Pocket Bands on MC1-C and MC1-1D provide more positive opening and reduce the decent rate by 1.5 fps, which is important to heavily laden jumpers. Parachutes are produced in accordance with the latest applicable U.S. Army and Parachute Industry Association (PIA) specifications. specs click to enlarge images, MANEUVERABLE TROOP PARACHUTES MC1-1B, MC1-1C, MC1-1D, MC1-1E, midair separation, mid-air separation ,DRAS, DRAS platform, DRAS outrigger, buffer stop assembly, BSA, EFTC, EFTA, Airdrop, ATI, Airlift technologies
